The Journey Church celebrates its 50th birthday here in 2025, and we want to celebrate with you! More and more people are knowing and following Jesus at this time in the history of this church, and we believe it is because of the people we have here now, but we also believe this is because of those who came before us. The people and prayers of so many over these 50 years have brought us to where we are today. So this year we are going to celebrate what God has been up to and what God still has planned for us in our future.

WHEN IS THE CELEBRATION?

We are having ONE service at 10 AM on January 26th.

WERE IS THE CELEBRATION?

We are NOT meeting at The Journey Church that morning. Instead, we will be celebrating at West Springfield High School. You can find the directions here. Enter through Door 11, which is located at the rear of the high school closest to the Football Field. Don't worry - out parking team will be there to direct you!

WILL THERE BE KIDS CLASSES?

There will be no separate kids classes that morning, but each kid will receive an activity bag as they enter the auditorium. There will be music and a video or two to help keep their attention too.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

This is going to be a fun morning! The service will be a little over an hour, and we'll get to hear from some of the former leaders of The Journey and look back on our history, as well as looking towards what God has in store for us in the next 50 years. There will be light refreshments following the service, and hopefully you'll get a chance to connect with old friend and meet a few new ones as well!
