The Journey Church is celebrating its 50th birthday and we want to celebrate with you! More and more people are knowing and following Jesus because of this church. We believe that is because of the people we have here now, but we also believe this is because of those who came before us. The people and prayers of so many over these 50 years have brought us to where we are today. So we're going to celebrate what God has been up to in this church over the years

and pray for God to show us what's planned for us in our future. Here are a few FAQ's for the morning.

WHEN IS THE CELEBRATION?

We are having ONE service at 10 AM on Sunday, January 26th.

WERE IS THE CELEBRATION?

We are NOT meeting at The Journey Church that morning. Instead, we will be celebrating at West Springfield High School. The address is 6100 Rolling Rd, West Springfield, VA 22152, and you can find the directions here. Enter through Door 5, which is located at the rear of the high school closest to the Football Field. Don't worry - our parking team will be there to direct you!

WILL THERE BE KIDS CLASSES?

There will be no separate kids classes that morning. Each child will receive an activity bag as they enter the auditorium. The service will be relatively fast paced with lots of music. If your kid gets squirmy, there is a HUGE lobby area they can run around to get some of that energy out!

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

This is going to be a fun morning! The service will be a little over an hour, and we'll get to hear from some former leaders and attendees of The Journey. We'll look back at our history, be thankful for the present, and be expectant of our future. There will be light refreshments following the service, and hopefully you'll get a chance to connect with old friends and meet a few new ones as well!
