How To Access The Journey’s Church Center App

Church Center by Planning Center is a church management software that The Journey uses to manage the different aspects of the church life. The Church Center app and website will be available to anyone. Only members will see the private groups that require membership. Please find below important information about Church Center. 

CHURCH CENTER

Think of Church Center as the hub for staying connected at The Journey. This will be the central location for giving, groups, volunteers and event registrations. You can access Church Center online using the desktop version, or via the Church Center app for Android or iPhone. 

• GIVING
  Giving is the platform that handles offerings and donations to The Journey, which enable us to continue with our mission of helping people take their next step towards Jesus

• GROUPS
  Groups is where you can find information about the different neighborhood life groups and classes at The Journey. Some groups also have the ability to chat with each other via the website or app as well.

• EVENTS
  In the Events section, you can sign up to attend or volunteer for various events.

HOW DO I…?

UPDATE MY CONTACT INFORMATION

Go to Church Center online or within your Church Center app and click your profile icon in the upper right hand corner, click My Profile, click Edit. Note: the birth date field cannot be updated through Church Center. If the birthdate for yourself or another family member is wrong or missing, email office@thejourneynova.org. This is especially important for kids, since this information helps to make sure they are put into the correct Journey Kids class(es) in the system.

FIND OUT WHAT’S GOING ON

Visit the church calendar through the Church Center app or desktop or read the weekly email sent in the Church Center app. 

SIGN UP FOR AN EVENT

Sign up for events by hovering over the Church Life tab and selecting the Events option. Click the event you would like to attend and fill out the necessary information. You can also find this information by clicking Events at the top of the Church Center page while using the desktop version.

SIGN UP TO GIVE ELECTRONICALLY

Click on the Give page on our website or access the Give option within the Church Center app on the Google Play or Apple App Store.

CAN I SUBMIT A PRAYER REQUEST THROUGH THE APP?

Prayer requests can be submitted through Church Center here, and will be sent to the Prayer Team.
