Love NOVA

Bringing community partners and local churches together to meet the physical, financial, and relational needs of our neighbors.

At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, The Journey community came together to raise funds, serve, and meet the needs of our neighbors in crisis. From this work, our non-profit, Love NOVA, was born. Today, Love NOVA organizes a number of outreach and community service events in the Northern Virginia area.

Join The Journey in helping an Afghan family of 8 resettle in the Burke/Springfield area. The parents and children (ages 2 and older) are arriving on January 12 and will have evolving needs over time. Right now, we are asking for furniture donations and contributions to an Amazon wishlist posted here. Future needs will include helping them physically move into their home once it is identified and helping them adjust to the U.S. in various ways.
